Things to czech out in Prague

So glad to finally get off the train and arrive in Prague! We got a taxi straight to Hostel Mambo and checked in to our room. As we opened the door we were greeted by a ridiculously big picture of Buddha. Interesting decor. His eyes seemed to follow you around the room!

Pete loving life

After meeting Buddha we headed to the old town square which was beautiful. On the journey there our taxi driver was a bit of an odd guy. First of all he smelt awful which was not ideal and he offered to take us to a strip club at around 6pm. What a top guy. Always thinking of others even though it was early! We arrived in the square with the famous clock tower and other monuments which were stunning. A quick bite to eat was followed by the Prague Pub Crawl. We ended up in a five storey club which looked like an abandoned set of shops. I love how different the clubs are in eastern Europe.

Our second day was more relaxed as our bodies were hating us by this point. We moved to our second hostel which was much better. After checking in we headed out and found an amazing restaurant overlooking the river near Charles Bridge. Best restaurant view ever! The rest of the day involved chilling at the hostel and having a few casual drinks at nearby Cross Bar which is so cool inside. Everything is made of metal and is very quirky.

Our hostel had a volleyball court!

The final day of our Prague adventure involved lunch outside in the old town square which was really nice. We then walked through the beautiful streets and over Charles Bridge. Lots of artists and buskers on the bridge. We made our way up through the steep streets and had a look inside a cathedral which is quite mind blowing. How do people build these things!? A final trip to the river side restaurant in the evening and a trip on the Drunken Monkey pub crawl. We've partied hard on this trip and had such a good time!

My next blog will be about my time in Berlin which is a great hipster city with amazing restaurants and such unique nightlife!
